How to contact the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core for Services:
If you want B&B help with a new project, you can do any of the following:
- Contact one of the 5 Core Triagers (Table 1).
- If your project is related to one of the current CFAR Scientific Working Groups (SWGs), contact the liaison to that SWG. (Table 2)
- If your project is related to one of the current CFAR Scientific Programs (SPs), contact the liaison to that SP. (Table 2)
- If your project is related to one of the other CFAR Cores, contact the liaison to that Core. (Table 2)
- Look through the research areas below to find one that comes closest to your project and contact (one of) the B&B Core member(s) listed with that research area. (Table 3)
- If you have worked with a member of the Core in the past and you want to work with that person again, feel free to contact that person directly.
- If you have worked with a member of the Core before but don't think your current project falls into the research area of that member, feel free to use any option A to E.
- If you have worked with a member of the Core before but don't want to work with that person again, feel free to use any option A to E.
- If you are submitting a NIH grant and want to put money in the budget to pay a CFAR statistician, it is administratively easier if you work with a CFAR statistician at your institution or one of the institutions with which you are already planning a subcontract. There are CFAR statisticians at DFCI, MGH (and Ragon Institute), and HSPH. If you want to put money in the budget for a bioinformatics expert, please contact John Hutchinson.
