BSL-3 Laboratory now includes SARS-CoV-2 related core services thanks to Mark and Lisa Schwartz

The BSL-3 laboratory’s expanded capabilities to support virology work was provided through a generous gift from Mark and Lisa Schwartz, long-time supporters of the Ragon Institute. Through this gift, the BSL-3 was able to undergo upgrades that allow researchers throughout the Institute and across CFAR to safely research viral pathogens that affect the lives of millions of people across the globe.
