Advanced Lab Technologies Core
The mission of the ALT Core is to provide HU CFAR members with access and training to state-of-the-art technologies for HIV research.
Services
Access to state-of-the art technologies and resources
- Cytometry (50 color analyses and color sorting)
- Microscopy (multispectral and live tissue imaging, confocal microscopy)
- Genomics (RNAseq, ChIPseq, single cell resolution, CRISPR screening)
- BSL3 facilities for HIV/TB co-infection and SARS-CoV-2 studies (including cytometry/sorting, live-cell microscopy, 10x genomics, and Luminex)
- Access to training in state-of-the art technologies, including computational assistance and BSL3 consultation, training, and technical execution of experiments
- HIV-1 Neutralizing Antibody Core, a resource for assessing the breadth and potency of HIV-1 neutralizing antibodies, and for characterizing the neutralization phenotype of HIV-1 isolates
- Spatial profiling (10x Visium)
User Training for Investigators
- Training to support the immediate use of new equipment
