Developmental & Mentoring Core Request for Proposals

Under the direction of the Developmental & Mentoring Core, the HU CFAR releases requests for proposals biannually to support high-impact HIV/AIDS research projects with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration and the mentoring and advancement of early career investigators, including Underrepresented Minorities (URiM)/Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in HIV research.

Scholar awards provide salary and research support for Harvard-affiliated early career investigators and international investigators with a Harvard mentor who plan a transition to independence.  Applicants may request up to $75,000 in salary and/or non-salary costs per year for one or two years plus the cost of institutional fringe.

RFPs are released each year on September 1st and February 15th for awards beginning on February 1st and August 1st, respectively.
