– University of Washington
– National Institutes of Health

Formal courses that grant credit or certificate:
In Harvard network:
– Introduction to implementation research: Designing and Evaluating Interventions
– SBS210 at HSPH (Introduction to Dissemination and Implementation Science), spring semester; open to HSPH students and to others by permission of the instructor.
– HPM284 at HSPH (Implementation Research in Health and Healthcare), summer semester; priority enrollment for Program in Clinical Effectiveness participants and HSPH degree candidates, with others admitted upon petition.
– GH719 at HMS (Implementation Science for Global Health Delivery), fall semester; currently open only to students in the Masters of Medical Sciences for Global Health Delivery program, but may open to broader enrollment in the future.
At other institutions:
– Implementation Science for Global Health Summer Institute at the University of Washington
UCSF online certificate program for implementation science

Mentorship programs:
– HIV, Infectious Disease, and Global Health Implementation Research Institute (HIGH IRI) at Washington University in St Louis. Two-year period of training and mentorship with two one-week in-residence sessions in St. Louis.  For early-career researchers from any organization.
– HIV and Implementation Science Fellowship, with an option for a Joint Fellowship in Sociostructural Determinants of Health and Implementation Science. This program is run through the Mid-Atlantic CFAR Consortium Implementation Science Hub at Johns Hopkins University and the inter-CFAR Implementation Science Working Group.  It is for NIH-defined early-stage investigators who have not held and R01 or equivalent award. Working groups and seminars:
Harvard Catalyst: Implementation Science Working Group: Monthly offerings include methods and topical sessions as well as opportunities for information sharing, community building, and skills development. Through these activities, ISWG seeks to build collaborations among researchers who are engaging in implementation science research. Email community catalyst to sign up for the mailing list.
– Mongan Institute: Applying Implementation Research Methods Seminar (AIRMS). Led by Stephen Bartels, MD, MS, this seminar’s aim and purpose are to apply implementation research methods–including frameworks, models, theories, strategies, and measures, develop proposals by participants (when available), and simulate case studies by stimulating discussion of relevant research articles and web-based resources. Open to all MGH affiliates and to others on a case-by-case basis.  Please email MGH Mongan Institute or contact Rachel Vanderkruik to inquire about joining.
