Utilizing community-engaged methods to inform development of a tailored intervention to address drug use and subsequent HIV risk among transgender women

PRESENTED BY: Tiffany R. Glynn, PhD, T32 Clinical-Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry, MGH & Department of Emergency Medicine, BWH.

Dr. Glynn is currently a T32 fellow at Harvard Medical School with appointments in the Department of Psychiatry at MGH and Emergency Medicine at BWH. She is a licensed clinical health psychologist and public health scientist. Her research explores health disparities among marginalized communities, with a focus on transgender women, and multi-level interventions to achieve health equity. Her work has been funded by NIDA, NIMH, and NIAID, used in antidiscrimination legal cases, and for the latest WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) standards of care.
