DF/HCC Funding Opportunity for HIV/AIDS-related Malignancies

DF/HCC has received from NCI three separate P30 supplement opportunities in AIDS-related malignancies. 

They will conduct an internal review at DF/HCC to select projects for each opportunity. If you have a project you would like considered for one of these applications, please submit the following information by e-mail to Jun-Rong Wei, no later than 2/26/24:

A. Name, academic title, institutional affiliation
B. Supplement Opportunity for which you would like to be considered (1, 2 or 3 below)
C. Title plus one-to-two-page description of project
D. General details of the budget for your project (one or two years, Total Costs per year requested)
E. NIH biosketch for key project personnel

Investigators will be notified during the week of 3/4/24 if their project has been selected for the supplement application.

1. Administrative Supplements for P30 Cancer Centers Support Grants (CCSG) to Stimulate Research in HIV/AIDS Cancer Research Projects at NCI-designated Cancer Centers (Read the full NOFO here or download below):

  • Application due 4/5/24
  • Research proposal should address questions that can be tested by using biospecimens and/or cohort data

Leadership of projects by junior or mid-level investigators is encouraged

  • Two years of funding, up to $500K (Total Costs)
  • DF/HCC can submit only one application

2. Administrative Supplements for P30 Cancer Centers Support Grants (CCSG) to Stimulate Research in HIV-Associated Cancers in Aging Populations (Read the full NOFO here or download below):

  • Application due 4/5/24
  • Research proposal should address areas of challenge such as pattern, natural history, and optimization of treatment of NADCs occurring in aging HIV+ individuals

Leadership of projects by junior or mid-level investigators is encouraged

  • Two years of funding, up to $500K (Total Costs)
  • DF/HCC can submit only one application

3. Administrative Supplements for P30 Cancer Centers Support Grants (CCSG) to Stimulate Research in Immunotherapy and Tumor Microenvironment in HIV/AIDS Cancer Patients at NCI-designated Cancer Centers (Read the full NOFO here or download below):

  • Application due 4/5/24
  • Research proposal must specifically outline HIV outcomes
