Clinical Core
The Clinical Core provides infrastructure support for investigators conducting clinical and basic science research related to HIV infection and its associated opportunistic infections. Core services, education, and community engagement programs are designed to facilitate clinical and translational research across Harvard and affiliated international sites.
Clinical Trials
The Clinical Core provides key infrastructure for a number of studies led by HU CFAR investigators. Clinical research staff are involved in investigator-initiated HIV clinical trials with the ability to assist HU CFAR investigators.
Cohorts
The Clinical Core cohorts are largely funded by grants to individual CFAR members and leverage CFAR support with submission of research protocols to institutional review boards (IRBs), screening and recruitment of study subjects, clinical data collection, database entry and queries, and specimen retrieval.
Clinical Resources
The Clinical Core offer access to databases, repositories, specimens, clinical samples and information on research administration through our growing network of organizations across the HIV/AIDS research spectrum.
